Title: Wear The Crown In Another World
Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Nick/Joe
Summary: It wasn’t about Nick giving in, it was about what he was allowing Joe to have
Joe said, “It could be good,” quietly insistent. His eyes dropped to Nick’s mouth. “If you would just…”
Joe’s hand curled around the back of Nick’s head, dragging Nick forward as he leaned in and pressed their mouths together. It was forceful and brief, almost violent, more of an assertion than a kiss, like they had to get that out of the way before they could do anything else.
Joe tore away and heaved a breath, looking at Nick, heated. Nick touched his fingers to his own mouth, saw Joe track the movement.
This one is hot like burning, I honestly can't remember the last time I was this turned on. Enough said, right?

Title: Here Comes Your Man
Author:

Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Nick/Joe
Summary: Nick, Joe and Garbo get high and play Truth or Dare with a couple of girls at Garbo’s place.
“Truth,” Nick says, reminding the rest of them that there’s a game to be played here. Never mind the fact that it’s not the sort of game one can win, Nick’s crazy competitive streak won’t let the game end on his turn. It shouldn’t be so difficult for him to focus, to outsmart everyone else in the room, but Nick’s out of his element here. Joe’s nuzzling his neck and stroking his hand down Nick’s chest, and Nick’s wasting too much energy trying to ignore him.
This is very lush and sexy, the audience of Garbo and the girls is an added turn on. And it doesn't feel contrived at all, which is saying a lot for a Truth or Dare fic.

Summary: "They sleep bundled together in the back of the covered wagon, rolling themselves up in their rough wool blankets like caterpillars, arms slung around each other." -- an AU with Nick and Joe as Mormon pioneers sent ahead of their family to Arizona
At prayer group that week, they all pray for two hours for Franklin and Paul Kevin's recovery. Father sweats and thunders, his eyes glowing with fervor as he reminds every man that the innocent often pay for grown men's sins. Nick stares at his father with wide eyes. Joe counts the cracks in the floorboards and imagines the words seeping into his brother’s soul like poison.
I'm reccing it forward with this one:) I found it originally via
onelittlesleep and I fell in love with the concept and the writer's style. It's a road trip, old school, the boys travelling across the country as pioneers. These two are such adorable little men and there's something about them in this story (and, ok, most jobros stories) that makes me think they have beautiful, shiny little souls.

Mom was saying "-the way you are with Nick is...different, honey. I wouldn't say anything if you were like that with Kevin too or Frankie-" and when Joe thinks about it now, he almost laughs. He snorts quietly and whispers to himself "...that would be gross."
He cuddles close to Nick's front, arm slung over Nick's hip. He presses his forehead to Nick's, breathes in the smell of his little brother. Nick smells like a boy. Nick smells like cologne and like sweet curls and toothpaste.
I always get sucked into re-reading
onelittlesleep's stories when I click on my 'To Rec' bookmarks. She has this way of sucking you into these raw and rich fantasies. I really wish someone more articulate than me could tell me what it is I love so much about her style of writing.

Title: Forget Your House Of Cards
Author:

Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Joe/Nick
Summary: Kevin can see it when they talk, when they joke and Joe just says something that makes Nick lose control, breaking character until he's caught for breath and his cheeks split from smiling. It's just about the only time Nick looks sixteen, seems like he's just a pretty boy halfway through High School and Kevin loves Joe for that, for that infinite, unknowable way he can break Nick, can slick his fingers into the kinks in his armour and pull him apart until he's their kid brother again, that shining-eyed boy who used to look up to them before he had an Atlas weight thrust upon his shoulders.
There was no moment, Kevin realised. No moment when the hand Joe tangled in Nick's hair was anything more than just the simple touch of a brother. Not once when their tangled limbs in the early morning spelled anything more to Kevin than a cold night, a lonely night. There was no experience over the years where Kevin just knew, but they were enough. Joe's finger clinging to Nick's belt loop was enough, Nick's stifled yawn and the way he rests his head against Joe's shoulders was enough. The quiet hands and the hotel rooms. The shared beds and the tangled songs like lyrics written for each other.
This is just *marvellous*, the whole thing is from Kevin's POV. What's it like being on the inside of the Jonas Brothers but still being an outsider? The author made me just *adore* Kevin and hopefully by the end of it you will too:)

Title: The Shape Your Faces Make
Author:

Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Nick/Joe
Summary: He wants to understand where everything went wrong for them, because some part of him is scared to death it's going to be the same for him and his brothers too.
But today he's not saying anything, just undressing and re-dressing almost mechanically and then sitting cross-legged on his bed and unwrapping his sandwich. Joe stands across from him, buttoning up his shirt and watching his brother.
"Nicky," he says softly, "talk to me."
Nick picks at his sandwich, still not looking Joe in the eye. "There's nothing to talk about, Joe," he says steadily.
Joe sees something in a hotel hallway that scares the shit out of him.

Joe goes wild, fucking up against Nick’s soft, slippery belly, holding him down and thinking about what it would be like to fuck him for real. He buries his face in Nick’s sweaty neck and says as much, barely coherent words spilling from his mouth.
*ahem* Yes. What can I say? One of the hottest sex scenes I've read in awhile but it's not just a PWP either, there's depth. You just get distracted by the fucking:)

Title: Chemicals Collide
Authors: fiorie and miss_bennie
Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Joe/Nick
Summary:It's the three of them, now and until they're done, because you can break up a band but you can't break up your family.
The room is quiet, and Nick can feel his heart pounding, but he feels calm, safe. Like kissing Joe is just something he does. It's weird, he knows, but a part of him wishes that he had done it sooner. Like it's just an extension of everything else. But then he looks a Joe, whose eyes are still open, and he's terrified again, overwhelmed.
These authors managed to write co-dependancy like it was the healthiest thing in the world, I respect that:)

Title: The Brothers Who Were Turned Into Birds
Author: annakovsky
Fandom: Jonas Brothers
Pairing: Joe/Nick
Summary: "I'll always protect you," Joe whispers, more to himself than you. It's not the first time he's said it. You're six years old and it never occurs to you to ask him from what.
You think about how your parents would feel if they ever found out you'd done this, and in the middle of feeling ashamed you get a strange flash of something else, something that feels like you'd like them to find out. See? It's saying. Look what Joseph and I are doing, in a hotel room somewhere on the road.
This is such a haunting story, the relationship Nick has with his family and his fame, it all feels horribly plausible.
